Geographical ProcessMountain environments can be very different, from high mountain tops with harsh conditions and no trees, plants or animals to large forests on the lower slopes of the mountain or even desert spaces.
The geographical process of a mountain rising up out of the ground and then suffering erosion from wind, rain and snow is very quick space of time in geological terms. Many mountain tops can differ in the plants and animals that live in the environment. At higher mountain tops you can expect cold temperatures and plants and animals that can live in these environments. Further down the mountain you can find different plants and animals that have adapted to the warmer climates.
